Leadership Challenges builds on classroom visits of six executives who present dilemmas they have experienced in their jobs. The students, who are selected competitively for the fast-filling course, have two weeks to examine the case study before the executive visits to hear their presentations. Also, small groups of students each get a chance to dine with a visiting executive as a way to demystify his or her role as a business leader.

The students come away with sharpened presentation and public-speaking skills, as well as insights on the reality of being a business executive. In turn, the visiting executives have the opportunity to reflect on issues they faced which affected their employees, customers and communities. Some executives have even brought the student presentations back to their companies for further discussion.
