LEVEL 1:POSITION
position : we all have to start at something
the position really is not a guarantee that we are a good leader
but if we are a good leader we might end up in a position
people will get you a minimum of time, ideas,
in a level 1 position based company
People just follow you because you have a position
LEVEL 2: PERMISSION
people will follow you because they want to
thats because you have connected with them
so you are a manager, supervisor who people like
the problem is there are a lot of people who don’t connect
the good ones listen well, constantly observe, learn well
they have the attitude of serving.
LEVEL 3:PRODUCTION/RESULTS
you are able to produce results
they are an example for being productive
too many leaders are like travel agents, sending them where they themselves haven’t been, you attract who you are
lot of the problem solving is taken care of
LEVEL 4:PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT
you grow a company by growing the people
its about accomplishing together
it matters who we bring in
positioning matters; successful people slot themselves well
they position others well, they equip well, develop them
i do it, coach, you do it, leave the nest, you do it with mentor
LEVEL 5: PINNACLE /RESPECT
you done it with so many, for so long,
they follow you for what youve done.
leadership is a always ongoing, growing, learning
WHERE ARE YOU? WHAT LEVEL ARE YOU
take the ppl that you lead and put a no. down by putting a number against those people
