About Me'chelle

As a John Maxwell Certified Coach, Trainer and Speaker, I offer you workshops, seminars, keynote speaking, and coaching, to aid in your personal and professional growth. This is accomplished through the study and practical application of John’s proven leadership methods. Working together, I will move you and/or your team or organization in the desired direction to reach your goals.

Being such an action-oriented person, one that enjoys "Making Life Happen, instead of Life just happening", I decided to join the Maxwell team to teach others how to lead and influence. I have worked as a Consultant and Project Manager for 20 plus years and have managed several global teams. This has given me the ability to work with all types of people and personalities in the business world. Now I am looking for God to utilize me to bless people's lives by aiding in bringing out, revealing and enhancing their leadership abilities and guiding them through the process to become the leaders that he created them to be.

What People Saying About Us!

Stanley J. Elliott, Vice President of Student Affairs

The administration of Shaw University is grateful to 3rd Degree Solutions for presenting a comprehensive and informative session with our students on Leadership and Branding. Your workshop was a huge win on our campus as we see students stepping up to the plate and utilizing their influence on our campus. The tools provided will help to position and prepare them to be the future leaders of tomorrow. Thanks again and we look forward to working with you in the future.

Ms. Traci Claiborne, Career Development Coordinator (CDC) Sanderson High School

Me’chelle MeKenney is a passionate, charismatic pubic speaker! She has blessed the Wake County Public School System for the past 2 years by being a panel presenter in our Networking 101 session as part of “Great Xplorations”, an annual countywide event that hosts up to 600 - 800 high school students. She inspires young people and adults to work hard, to follow their dreams, and to master the art of networking and forging relationships that can be mutually beneficial in the future. Not only that, Ms. McKenney is always ready to help reach students in our public schools by classroom guest speaking or presenting at career fairs. She is personable and relatable to both teens and teachers. We sincerely appreciate her professionalism and support to help us educate and prepare students for their future endeavors.

Natacha Janvier-Derilus, Advisor/Recruiter NCCU-BRITE

As an advisor for the BRITE program, at North Carolina Central University, we’re always looking for different methods and ways to educate and motivate our students beyond the classroom and help prepare them for that next level after graduation. Upon meeting Ms. McKenney, of 3 rd Degree Solutions, and seeing her in action at a Wake County HS event, I knew that she was the impetus we needed to bring to our students at NCCU-BRITE. Not only did Ms. McKenney and her colleague Darius, bring a great measure of motivation, drive and passion to our campus, but they inspired our students to be more confident in who they are and be proud of their name. The BRITE students became more confident in their presentation skills after an excellent two part series with Ms. McKenney, in which they had to present in front of their peers. Many of those who were meek and mild now found a voice and discovered they too had a lot to say. The sessions on the importance of Leadership, Networking and Communication were especially invigorating as the students were able to learn key skills integral to their role as campus leaders, mentors and advocates for the students. They understood how to now transfer these skill sets to what would soon be there new reality, the workforce. We are truly indebted to Ms. Mckenney, for not only working with our students, but also being so dedicated to her craft so that we at NCCU-BRITE, were able to be the beneficiaries of all her hard work and commitment to helping others succeed in life.

Jessyka T Faulkner, Brite Student at NCCU

I am writing on behalf of the North Carolina Central University chapter of the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) regarding 3rd Degree Solutions services. I am Jessyka Faulkner and I was able to witness Mrs. McKenney's segments of professionalism for a month. Mrs. McKenney is very passionate about professionalism, networking, confidence and building a brand. I am a graduating young professional, and I am in the early stages of applying to jobs and receiving interviews. Before Mrs. McKenney's segment, I use to get so nervous and unsure when it's time to sell myself. Now, I can talk about myself in a way that doesn't seen unprofessional or unsure. Having her help us with professionalism impacted everyone involved in ISPE. She taught us that we are all leaders and that in order to become leaders we have to believe that we can impact others and ourselves. I would recommend her services for any group of young professionals who needs guidance in anything involving professionalism.  She is worth it! I am grateful for her and her services because she helped me realize a brand that I didn’t know existed.

Tenika McMillan ASA Assessment and Program Specialist, UNC General Administration

It was a pleasure to be a part of the Leadership/Networking Workshop that Me’chelle McKenney provided the NC Governor’s HBCU Internship Orientation. This particular presentation really resonated with the students and even career services directors in attendance. The presentation was engaging and interactive. All attendees left with a true sense of what their next steps on their journey would be.
